Private investors, family offices
Private investors, their charitable trusts and family offices are important clients of onValues. We support them in better aligning their investments to their personal values and objectives.
Often, our clients ask us to assist them in implementing sustainability and ethical criteria across a large part of their wealth targeting competitive financial returns. They may also ask us to identify investment opportunities with a high return potential, e.g. in the clean-tech or sustainable real estate fields. In other instances, they may request our support in evaluating and implementing so-called impact investments that target defined social goals while accepting below-market financial returns, e.g. in the field of microfinance or social entrepreneurship. Examples of onValues assignments for family offices include:
- Helping a wealthy Asian client understand the opportunities offered by sustainable investments and define an investment strategy for the entire wealth
- Implementing that strategy in close collaboration with the family office through a series of global asset manager searches (based on proprietary onValues databases with over 300 regularly monitored managers and over 10’000 regularly tracked funds) aimed at ‘filling’ the different asset allocations with cost efficient, high-quality investment mandates
- Monitoring the quality of implementation on a regular basis and assisting the client in further refining the strategy.
