Beat Zaugg

zauggBeat is a Chartered Financial Analyst and holds a university degree in economics and finance. He is currently Senior Consultant with ECOFIN Investment Consulting. Previously, he was Head of Investment Consulting for Towers Watson in Switzerland. He advises institutional investors, such as pension funds, on a full range of investment issues. His specialities are the definition of customized investment strategies, the independent selection of investment products and managers, and advice on traditional asset classes as well as real assets.

He previously worked for UBS, where he was responsible for integrating environmental factors in the investment process. Before that, he pioneered analysis in the field of sustainable corporate ratings for Centre-Info and was a co-founder of Eco-Rating International Ltd.

Beat studied economics and finance at the University of Berne. He has published numerous articles and is regularly invited as a speaker for conferences and workshops.



Peter Zollinger

zollingerPeter is partner in the founding team of Globalance Bank. As Head of Impact Research he guides the bank's efforts to understand and increase economic, social and environmental impacts of all investments accross all asset classes. Peter also serves as non-executive member of the Board of Directors of SustainAbility, the strategy consultancy and think tank, where he was Executive Director for many years. He is a known voice on matters of corporate governance and the role of investors (private and institutional) in creating long-term value. Prior to joining SustainAbility, Peter worked for Stephan Schmidheiny, a Swiss entrepreneur and founder of the World Business Council for Sustainable Development, first as executive assistant and later as Director of Strategic Development of FUNDES International. As Associate of the World Resources Institute, WRI, Washington, D.C., Peter helped engage the business community, specializing in forestry and energy/climate protection.

Peter holds a masters degree from the University of St. Gallen, Switzerland in economics, law and business with an emphasis on finance.
